Job Scope:

Ameritest Inc. supplies personnel and equipment for Well Test Services including but not limited to: Stimulation Flowbacks, In line Tests, Green Completion Testing, and Exploration or Production Testing to its’ customers.

The purpose of this position is a junior role on a 12 hour work shift to support this business line directly in the field.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Junior Ameritest Inc. employee on site learning the skills to be responsible for a specific 12 hour shift operating equipment on Site.
  • Responsible for Safe and proper use of hand tools.
  • Responsible to assist in loading and unloading of equipment being shipped and arriving on site for the job or job type to be undertaken.
  • Rig up and Rig Down of Site Equipment as instructed.
  • Learn to gather and record data and operate equipment by Day Supervisor, Night Supervisor and Operator, which include but are not limited to Exploration / Production / In Line Well Testing, Stimulation Recovery and or Flowback to Customer and Company standards of excellence.
  • Learn proper Maintenance, Repair and Service of Equipment including Compressors, Generators, Pumps, etc. as instructed by Day Supervisor, and Night Supervisor.
  • Learn to Repair and Service Equipment in shop and in the field.
  • Site specific duties include basic motors maintenance on Gen Sets and Compressors and any other duties specified by the Day Supervisor, and Night Supervisor …..Duties and Responsibilities to increase as Grade progresses.
  • On-going communications including half hourly reporting of data to Day Supervisor, and Night Supervisor.
  • Service and care of field service vehicles, tools, and Command Centre on location.
  • Must be continuously gaining knowledge from on going training supplied by Ameritest Inc. staff on location in all aspects of an Operators Job.

  • Lead Ameritest Inc. employees on a Shift , generally responsible only for that specific 12 hour shift operating equipment on Site.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading of correct equipment being shipped and arriving on site for the job or job type to be undertaken.
  • Responsible for Safe and proper use of hand tools.
  • Rig up and Rig Down of Site Equipment as instructed.
  • Gather and record data and operate equipment as instructed by Day Supervisor which include but are not limited to Exploration / Production / In Line Well Testing, Stimulation Recovery and or Flowback to Customer and Company standards of excellence.
  • Maintain Repair and Service Equipment including Generators, Pumps, Controllers, Valves etc. as instructed by Day Supervisor or Operations Supervisor/Manager and take responsibility on Site for same.
  • Repair and Service of Equipment in shop and recording of both in Cooperation with Day Supervisor.
  • Recording of all chargeable and non-chargeable activities inclusive of Services as well as maintenance and repairs to Customer and Testalta Operations.
  • On-going communications including half hourly reporting of data through Reporting Software to Customers.
  • Service and care of any assigned field service vehicle, assigned tools, and control of any inventory carried in field service vehicle.
  • On-going training of Ameritest Inc. Trainee staff members on location in all aspects of an Operators Job.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead Ameritest Inc. employee on site responsible for all Crew activities, procedures, and documentation on Site.
  • Responsible for correct equipment being shipped and arriving on site for the job or job type to be undertaken.
  • Professionally manage entire Site crew and perform activities which include but are not limited to Exploration / Production / In Line Well Testing, Stimulation Recovery and or Flowback to Customer and Company standards of excellence.
  • Correct and complete inventory of equipment recorded via Material Transfers and or Field Service.
  • Tickets upon delivery to and receipt from the Rig Site.
  • Track status and condition of assigned Equipment and take responsibility on Site for same.
  • Continuously updating of activities through Reporting to Operations.
  • Recording and submission of all chargeable and non-chargeable activities inclusive of Services as well as maintenance and repairs to Customer and Ameritest Inc. Operations.
  • Supervision of Repair and Service of Equipment and recording of both in Cooperation with Staff.
  • On-going communications including daily reporting of data and public relations with Site and office home based Customers.
  • Service and care of any assigned field service vehicle, assigned tools, and control of any inventory carried in field service vehicle.
  • On-going training of Ameritest Inc. Trainees, Operators, and Night Supervisors on location.

Job Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years on land Well Testing in varied applications or 7 plus years off shore.
  • Excellent knowledge of pneumatics and instrumentation.
  • Driving skills which reflect safety and skill in off road or remote conditions.
  • Good computer skills and literacy.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Extensive Oilfield Experience acceptable as an off set to minimal Education.
  • Requires valid H2S, WHIMS, TDG, and preferably a First Aid Certificate.
